Participating wineries

The wineries belong to the so called Egri Borműhely (Eger Wine Workshop) association, and the following estates will participate: Bolyki, Esterházy Károly University, Gál Tibor, Juhász Testvérek, Ostoros, Petrény, St. Andrea, Thummerer, Tóth Ferenc Winery.

Wine of August: Tóth Ferenc Egri Csillag Classicus 2020

Egri Csillag is the white blend of the wine region, always fresh, charming, never too aromatic, but juicy, good to drink. Tóth Ferenc Winery uses Olaszrizling, Hárslevelű, Királyleányka and Leányka grapes for the blend, all fermented separately in stainless steel tanks.
“Straw colour with golden reflexes. Intense aroma, youthful blossoms, white meat fruits and yellow plum on the nose. Begins with grape flower fragrance of the Királyleányka grape complemented with honey aromas of Hárslevelű and Leányka. More flowers like freesia come from the background.
