Haraszthy Valentine meal at Matador

As we wrote earlier, Haraszthy Vineyards released a new chocolate bonbon filled with indigenous Irsai Olivér and Malbec. The estate also offers a wine lunch on Sunday, 13th February in Matador restaurant, the in house eatery of the winery. It is just a stone throw from Budapest, but if you are interested, hurry, only a few vouchers are left.

The 4 course menu includes courses like celery soup with vanilla or pheasant with truffle sauce and josper grilled veggies. The menu will be served continuously during opening hours (from 12.00 to early evening).

The romantic atmosphere is guaranteed right from the welcome drink – it will be LOVE Sparkling Wine or the limited edition, méthode traditionnelle Öreghegy Brut 2015 made of 100% Chardonnay. The first one refers to the famous LOVE statue, the second one is a forerunner of the brand new – not official yet – appellation of the “Etyeki Pezsgő”, the Sparkling Wine of Etyek wine region.

Price: 22 900 HUF /  person (around 65 euros) and include the courses, the matching wines, a box of the above mentioned bonbons and a rose.
