Learn about Tokaj wines in the vineyard

Béres Vineyard and Winery in Tokaj has just inaugurated a new educational trail within their vineyard in Erdőbénye, Tokaj wine region. Lőcse vineyard is one of the best vineyards of the estate, and because of its breathtaking panorama, it is a popular excursion destination for both kids and adults. The new educational path reveals the phases of grape growing and teaches about the life of a vinegrower, but the information displays give plenty of exciting facts about the rocks and soils or the animals and plants of the vineyard as well. The path is 1.5 kilometres long, it takes approximately 2 hours to walk through, and some slopes are 22 degrees steep therefore good hiking shoes are necessary. Binoculars are useful: sometimes we can spot a pheasant, an eagle, a fox or a red deer (cervus elaphus). Béres has been chosen The Most Beautiful Vineyard in 2015.
