Find some comfort in these hard times!

These days the whole word is watching staticstics, learning precautions and trying to adapt to a new situation. Wine events are cancelled in many countries, also in Hungary. VinCE Budapest Wine Show is postponed to 6–7 June, Rosalia Festival is also postponed, the new date is yet to be announced. Gourmet Festival has not announced cancellation yet, but since the Hungarian government has banned – for an indefinite period of time – every indoor event above 100 people and every outdoor event above 500 people, it is expected to be cancelled as well. We, journalists are responsible for sharing correct information, and finding the balance between increasing panic and trivializing the situation. From now on we concentrate on news not including travelling, but wines and gastro tips you can enjoy at home. Keep in mind: moderate wine drinking is healthy, and – last but not least – it makes our mood better. So here is a shiny happy rosé from Szekszárd, from Lajver Wine Estate. After careful selection, the four grape varieties (Kékfrankos, Zweigelt, Syrah, Merlot) were fermented and matured separately in stainless steel, and were blended to achieve a harmonious, super fruity wine.
