Almost 10 year old beauty with still a lot of potential. The first vintage was released in 2009 (vintage 2006) to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the building of Tűzkő cellars. The next vintage was 2009 and then after a long break 2013 followed. Only 300 bottles are made in each vintage, so you’d better hurry to get some of the last bottles of 2013.

What
A blend of Kékfrankos, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

Why
A special wine made only in exceptional vintages. The estate belongs to the world famous Marchese Antinori, and this wine is outstanding, made according to the principles of the celebrated SuperTuscan hero.
“Deep ruby colour. The nose is rich of fruit and spices with some minty character given by the Kekfrankos and the Cabernet Franc. A real iconic red from Hungary. The elegance is predominant in the taste, given by the silky tannins and the refreshing length of the acidity. The oak is so well balanced that is only perceived in an enhanced fruitiness. The ageing potential is huge, decades, but the wine is fully enjoyable now.“
