By Dóra Tomcsányi Hungarian designer
Gere wines are known as true icon wines all over Hungary, and also among the most seasoned foreign wine connoisseurs. Solus, Kopar, Attila Cuvée – undoubtedly superstar wines. But Gere estate has a playful faceas well, with the light-hearted bubblies, Frici white and Frici rosé. Now these aerated sparkling wines received a limited-edition ice bag designed by a well-known Hungarian designer.
White Frici is made of Királyleányka, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat Ottonel, while rose Frici is made of Menoir and Kékfrankos. Both of them fermented in stainless steel and carbon dioxide was added when bottling. Refreshing, flavoursome, full-of-fruit true summer wines.
The ice bags by TOMCSANYI design studio are inspired by Villány wine region and the the wines. As the designer says: “The aim was to create an IceBag, which is a stylish fashion accessory at the same time. Colourful, it has its own character and it represents the vibrant energy of the summer.”
