Jackfall Winery, Villány

The Jackfall Winery is located in the small village of Kisjakabfalva, in the Villány wine region. Originally a Hungarian settlement, it was populated by Swabians after the Turkish occupation, who named the village Jackfall, a name adopted by the winery.

Spanning 15 hectares in the Villány wine region, Jackfall Winery cultivates vineyards in Kisharsny and Nagytótfalu. Grape varieties include Chardonnay, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Kékfrankos, and uniquely, they work with vineyard-selected, barrel-aged Portugieser. The winery produces between 70 000 and 85 000 bottles annually.

Jackfall Winery always strives for high quality, crafting wines through traditional methods. The excellent quality is attributed to the work of the winemaker András Köszeli, who gained experience in renowned wine regions like Tuscany, Napa Valley, and Provence.

Owners of the winery, Borbála Jandrasics and Imola Elek, focus on adapting to the dynamic world while staying true to the original values inherited from their parents.
