Grape varieties: We added Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah to the Kékfrankos (Blaufrankisch) base. Due to this blend, the final product is a full-bodied red wine with aromas of fruits and spices.

Technology: The fermentation process took 18 months in wooden barrels, with full malolactic fermentation, followed by a long period of bottle ageing to increase its complexity.

Food pairing: It can give the perfect harmony with beef and venison dishes.

Story: 2021 was a successful year for us, especially regarding the crop. The weather was so warm that we could harvest fully ripened grapes with high sugar level. To obtain the Superior title, the wine has to be at a higher level from the harvesting to the actual taste, so we only make this type of wine from the best vintages.
