Description

Our Cabernet Franc comefrom the picturesque Tihany Peninsula of Lake Balaton. The territory is part of the Balatonfüred-Csopak PDO but, unlike the majority of the region, lies on volcanic rock with a mixture of basalt tuff in the soil. The wine is elegantly cool, medium-full-bodied with complex fruity aromas (blackberry, cranberry) and some spices (black and rose pepper). The wine went through a long ageing (24 months) which gives it a round and silky texture. Unfiltered, unrefined, with minimal sulphur content.
