Terroir, vineyard: All the grape comes from our own vineyard on Sabar hill, from a single, 1.5-hectare plot with about 0.9 hectares Kékfrankos and 0.6 hectares Cabernet Franc.
Harvest and technology: Both varieties were harvested on the same day, on 29 September. The grapes were soaked on the skin for about two weeks with constant pumping over. After pressing half of it remained in stainless steel tank, while the other half went to barrels of different size and age to obtain a fruit driven wine. Bottling took place at the very end of July.

Story of the label: As Gábor Ádám owner explained, the label is based on a black and white photo taken in 1940 in a vineyard on Sabar hill. A friend found the photo in the family archive, and the picture features a jolly picnic. In the background of the photo, we can see the old bush vines of the era.
