The absolute winner of the 3 categories in English language will receive a 4 day (3 nights) all inclusive trip to Hungary on 14–17 August 2018. The main prize includes the flight ticket from a European city to Budapest and back with one normal checked in suitcase, accommodation for 3 nights, 3 meals / day, transfers from and to the airport and between the program venues, and at least 3 exclusive winery visits. The other 2 category winners will also receive the same trip except from the flight ticket – in case they accept the price, flight ticket must be purchased by themselves.

A magyar nyelvű döntősök közül a legtöbb szavazatot elért abszolút győztes nyereménye egy négynapos (három éjszakás), all inclusive utazás Sant Sadurní d’Anoiába, a spanyol pezsgő, azaz a cava fővárosába 2018. október 5–8-án, az éves pezsgővesztivál, azaz a CavaTast idején. A fődíj tartalmazza a repülőjegyet Budapest és Barcelona között egy feladott normál poggyásszal, transzfert a programok között, szállást 3 éjszakára, háromszori étkezést, legalább 3 exkluzív pincelátogatást, illetve kóstolójegyeket a fesztiválra.

Az egyes kategória döntőseinek és győzteseinek díjai a kategóriák leírásainál olvashatók.

• Entry period lasts until 30 June 2018. Links of entered articles have to be submitted to the email address info@hungarianwines.eu not later than midnight on 30 June 2018. The email has to contain the link of the entered article, the name of the contestant and e-mail address and telephone number of the contestant.
• A confirming email will be sent to the applicant within 24 hours.
• Entered articles will be judged by the jury members listed at each category between 1–15 July 2018. Members of jury will make their judgement based on the main judging principles.
• 3 articles written in Hungarian and 3 articles written in English will become finalists in each category. Finalists will be announced on 20 July 2018 on page https://www.hungarianwines.eu/webwinewriting. The name of the contestant, the title of the finalist article, the first sentence of the article and the link of the article will be posted.
• Voting period begins on 21 July and closes on 5 August 2018 at midnight. The contestant who receives the highest number of the votes until the end of the voting period will be the winner of the given category. Voting takes place on page https://www.hungarianwines.eu/webwinewriting. One person can vote only once.
• The contestant who will receive the highest number of votes in all three categories added up in the given language will become the absolute winner. The main prize will go to the absolute winner of the 3 English language categories and to the absolute winner of the 3 Hungarian language categories – thus there will be two absolute winners.
• Award ceremony will take place on 16 August 2018 in Etyek, Hungary at Haraszthy Wine Estate. Each finalist will receive invitation to the award ceremony.

• Kategóriánként 3 magyar és 3 angol nyelvű írás kerül a döntőbe, ezeket a cikk első mondatával és közvetlen linkkel, illetve a döntős nevével 2018. július 20-án tesszük közzé a https://www.hungarianwines.eu/webwinewriting
• július 21-től lehet szavazni a döntősökre. A szavazás 2018. augusztus 5-én éjfélkor zárul. Aki az egyes kategóriákban a szavazás végéig a legtöbb szavazatot gyűjti, az lesz az adott kategória győztese. A szavazás a https://www.hungarianwines.eu/webwinewriting weboldalon történik. Egy ember egyszer szavazhat.
• Aki mindhárom magyar, illetve mindhárom angol nyelvű kategóriát együttvéve a legtöbb szavazatot gyűjti be a szavazás végéig, az lesz az abszolút magyar, illetve az abszolút angol nyelvű győztes, ők ketten kapják meg a fődíjat.
• A díjátadóra 2018. augusztus 16-án kerül sor az I. Hungarianwines Gettogether rendezvény keretében Etyeken, a Haraszthy Pincészetben. A díjátadóra minden döntős meghívást kap

• The organizer of the contest is the owner of hungarianwines.eu Nemos Creative Ltd.
• This not a blog or website contest, thus not blogs, but articles compete. We are looking for the best online winewriters.
• Articles can be entered if they are relevant to any of the given categories.
• The entered article cannot be longer than 10 000 characters with spaces. There is no minimum character restriction.
• An applicant can enter 1 article per category, therefore if he enters in each category, he can enter a maximum of 3 articles.
• The article has to be online on a functioning, at least 4 times / month updated website. The profile of the website or blog is not relevant in terms of the contest, therefore the entered article can be published on a non-wine related website as well.
• Everybody can enter the competition in Europe, however the name of the author must appear with the article online. Articles posted with a nickname cannot enter.
• Articles must be published between 1 January 2018 and 30 June 2018.
• In case the absolute winner does not respond the winner announcment e-mail and does not take a phonecall from the organizer until 10 August, the prize will automatically go to the person with the second highest number of votes.
• The entered articles must be available online on the entered link unti lat least 30 September 2018.
• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be converted into cash.
• The main prize contains what is listed at the description of the main prize. Other costs must be paid by the winner (therefore he is responsible for his travel insuarance).
• Finalists can receive their prizes at the award ceremony. If they are not present at the event, prizes will be sent by post.

• Ez nem egy blogverseny, tehát nem a blogok vagy weboldalak, hanem az írások versenyeznek.
• Nevezni olyan írással lehet, amely megfelel a kategória témájának.
• A nevezett írás maximális terjedelme 10 000 karakter space-ekkel. Minimális terjedelmi megkötés nincs.
• Egy szerző 1 kategóriában maximum 1 írással nevezhet, tehát ha mindhárom kategóriában indul, akkor maximum 3 írással nevezhet.
• A nevezés feltétele, hogy az írás online megjelent legyen egy működő, havonta legalább 4 alkalommal frissülő weboldalon. A weboldal tematikája a verseny szempontjából nem releváns, tehát nemcsak boros tematikájú weboldalon megjelent írásokkal lehet nevezni.
• A versenyre bárki nevezhet, nincs semmilyen megkötés, a nevezett cikknél azonban fel kell tüntetni a szerző teljes nevét, álnévvel megjelölt írással nem lehet nevezni.

• A terjedelem a maximális 10 000 karakterig bármekkora lehet, azonban a hosszabb nem feltétlen jobb: a zsűritagok azt is nézik, hogy az írás mennyire tartja fenn az olvasó figyelmét.
• Fontos, hogy az írás eredeti legyen, olvasmányos és élvezetes.
• Fontos, hogy az írás szakmailag megalapozott és alapos legyen.
• Bírálati szempont, hogy az írás stilisztikailag is minőségi legyen, ne legyenek benne nyelvhelyességi vagy helyesírási hibák.

The main prize for the winner writing in Hungarian is a trip to Spain, sponsored by Vino Castillo. This wine store can boast with the widest range of Spanish wines in Hungary. The owner, Zsolt Szeredi selected every single label himself during several trips to Spain and uncountable tastings. The wine store can offer wines from every wine region of Spain with numerous iconic brands and with less known treasures to be discovered.

Wines of Vino Castillo can be found on the wine list of the best restaurants and wine bars throughout Hungary, and winelovers can order directly from their webshop, what’s more soon Vino Castillo will open its shop and tasting room in the centre of Budapest.

From Penedés wine region not surprisingly they import mainly cavas: Agusti Torello Mata, Gramona, Juvé & Camps and Recaredo represent the highest quality.

And why does the winner of a Hungarian wine writer contest win a trip to Spain? Well, it has an educational purpose. Cava is great quality méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine, but it is still less famous than it deserves. The town of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the capital of cava organizes several events to promote cava, the most important of them is CavaTast in October. The winner will participate in the festival and will visit the top cava houses – and we hope that the gained experiences will be used to boost wine tourism to Hungary.
