Nero – the first 2017 of Eszterbauer

Nero red grape is always the first to harvest at Eszterbauer Winery, Szekszárd. It’s a peculiar grape – the only one which is allowed to make wine, though not meant to be wine grape. „It has thick skin, its sugar level increases suddenly, it’s almost impossible to find the appropriate date of harvest. We left it to fully ripened this year, it has its result regarding the alcohol level, but the nose and the palate compensate”   – says János Eszterbauer. Read more about Eszterbauer Nero here
