Autumn Picnic in Etyek

The vineyard of Budapest, Etyek hosts a so called Picnic four times a year, one in every season. The upcoming one on 2–3 September is going to be the 20th occassion. For the anniversary the location called „GastroPath” (’Gasztrosétány’) has been renewed, but the atmosphere is the same: cellars open thir doors, winemakers pour their wines with guest winemakers from other wine regions, and meanwhile music bands play here and there, and you can try delicious craft food in several places.

Two modern wineries in one place

The state of art „avantgarde” Lajvér Wine Estate will show their wines together with the local modern winery, Haraszthy Winery. Try the fresh, crispy, aromatic Sir Irsai from Haraszthy along with the Cuvée Blanc – blend of Sauvignon Blanc and the aromatic Cserszegi Fűszeres – from Lajvér winery!

How to get there

Buses with 760 marks leave from Kelenföldi Pályaudvar every hour (according to regular schedule), which will be supplemented with extra rides in case of higher demand. Full price return tickets are: 1120 HUF for „Etyek, autóbusz-forduló” station. The usual discounts at Volánbusz may be used with valid documentation. (e.g. student ID).
