We are excited to present you with a special opportunity: the chance to pre-order the newest vintage of Gere Winery’s flagship wine, the 2021 Kopar!
The story of Kopar began in 1997 when Attila Gere, inspired by a visit to Bordeaux, envisioned crafting his own grand blend. During the first harvest, the wine had yet to be named, but it was already evident that something exceptional was being created – a wine poised to redefine Hungarian winemaking. Back then, Andrea, still a high school senior, played a part in the inaugural harvest. Today, alongside her husband Kristóf, she continues the family tradition. Together with Attila, they oversee every crucial step of Kopar’s blending process. This wine not only preserves their heritage but also embodies their dedication and passion.
Kopar’s global success is exemplified by the fact that renowned wine critic James Suckling recognized the 2000 vintage in Wine Spectator magazine, ranking it among the world’s finest wines. Read about the Kopar’s journey here.
