We have received several e-mails asking for a map of Hungarian wine regions, so we have made a downloadable one. In Hungary there are 22 wine regions (in Hungarian ‘borvidék’), and lately there is an initiative to join forces and work in larger units, which might be translated as broader wine regions (‘borrégió’). Some of the the broader wine regions make true efforts to work together (i. e. Balaton), while others are less eager to unite.
