In case you missed Pinot Noir Day…
If I read Unraveling Wine blog more often, I wouldn’t have missed International Pinot Noir Day on 18th August. But Haraszthy Vineyard was kind enough to remind me, what is more, they think of the slow awakening winelovers and their Pinot special offer lasts until 25 August.
Haraszthy Pinot Noir 2018 from cool climate Etyek wine region received gold medal at the latest edition of London Wine Competition. Now the wine is available with 30% discount per bottle, plus another 20% discount is applied per case.
Tasting notes of Haraszthy Pinot Noir 2018 by LWC:
“The wine has flavours of red cherry, pomegranate and strawberries. The wine has oak flavours of roasted nuts, espresso and warm baking spice. Savory Pinot Noir that would pair well with a roast chicken.” In case you got excited, contact the team of Haraszthy Estate, they are super helpful!
And if you have the chance to come to Hungary, do not miss the estate, it is really close to Budapest (40 minutes drive) and they can boast with an amazing steak house called Matador (see photo below).
