Bold and vibrant

Sándor Mérész, chief winemaker of Etyeki Kúria started with an experimental project (MSP), but with time it has become something more important, hence now the series of wines are called MSV (Mérész Sándor Vision). The series includes an orange wine made of Pinot Gris.
The bunches were picked by hand, after destemming the must was kept on the skin for 14 days. The wine was aged in a large Hungarian barrel of 20 HL and in new Hungarian oak barrels of 300 L for 10 months.
Vivid nose abundant in citrus fruits – lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, orange – accompanied by rose pepper, floral notes and a touch of cinnamon. Vibrant palate with citrus fruits again with mild salinity and almond in the background. Pleasant tartness in the finish.
The winery recommends to pair with grilled goat cheese garnished with pear.
