A unique experience to engage all our senses

Dubicz Winery and Vineyard in Mátra wine region has just released a new type of wine tasting experience, which is available all year, in English as well.

Wine tasting engages each of our senses in a different way: the most intense is obviously smelling and tasting, but the appearance of the wine also makes an impression, and we must mention the associations in our mind, too.

Dubicz family has created a tasting session to enhance the visual experience of tasting, thus they combine tasting with artistic painting. The aim of the “art class” is to reflex the aromas and flavours of the wines on the canvas. To ensure the most finely tuned reflexions, different painting techniques are introduced. Some wine might be expressed more appropriately by water, why another may need acryl.

Since the instructor will guide participants step by step, the programme is suitable for beginners as well. Wine tasting usually helps overcome inhibitions, thus participants may discover hidden abilities in themselves. The outcome is a painting that guests will be proud of and they can even decorate their home with it to commemorate the unforgettable experience.

Wines to be tasted:

– Zsizsi (semi dry, aerated)

– Sauvignon Blanc

– Kékfrankos Rosé

– 1014 Chardonnay

– Kékfrankos Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvée

– Muscat Ottonel (semi dry)

Price: 10 900 HUF / person
Duration: 3 hours

Number of participants: minimum 6, maximum 12 people
