Sabar Olaszrizling Birtokbor 2020

Terroir, vineyard: The grape for this wine comes from 4 places of Badacsony wine region: Bács-hill, Tóti-hill, Sabar-hill and Badacsonyörs.
Technology: Hand harvest took place on several days between 19 September and 2 October. Destemming and pressing without soaking, fermentation with selected yeast. 2/3 of the wine matured in 10 year old, 500 L Hungarian oak barrel (by Hungarian coopers, Trust and Ézsiás) and 1/3 in stainless steel. Bottling on 17 August.

Description

Dewy green apple, juicy kiwi, basil, mint. The refreshing palate speaks for itself: a crystal clear wine withount any flamboyant attitude, but with depth. Mineral and salty aftertaste.
