South Balaton tasting on Wednesday in Budapest

This Wednesday producers of South Balaton wine region gather together in Hotel Gellért, Budapest. The hotel is famous for its wine tastings, the annual St Martin new vintage tasting is also held here. 15 wineries will pour their 50 wines from 18.00–22.00, you can taste them all with one ticket. Two masterclasses will be presented as well, one about Balaton being a region of attractions for the whole year(by Ferenc Bujdosó), and another one about bubbles of Balaton(by Péter Baranyai, winemaker of Garamvári Vineyard). South Balaton region has moderate climate, aromatic white wines, international varieties, roses and red wines are also produced. Garamvári Vineyard has a quite wide range of wines, they will offer some it at the event: Lellei Sauvignon Blanc 2017, Lellei Cserszegi Fűszeres 2017, Lellei Rose 2017, Garamvári Syrah 2012, Sínai Cabernet sauvignon 2012 and the méthode traditionelle sparkling wines: Garamvári Classic Brut, Garamvári Optimum Brut 2013.
