Stargazing with the winners of the 1st Hungarian WebWineWriting

Our very first online wine writer contest has just finished, and we are so glad to see that the wine world was stirred up by us a little, and we could put Hungarian wines in the limelight for a while. 46 articles entered in 3 Hungarian and 3 English language categories. After the professional juries selected the finalists, votes from supporters arrived – altogether 10.113 votes were given! What a number, thanks to all of our readers!

And the winners: Matthew Horkey (red wine EN), Perica S. Radović (Tokaj En), Đorđe Pešić (Colourful Hungary EN), Ferenc Török(red wine HU), Hajnalka Szabó (Tokaj HU), Zoltán Szabó (Colourful Hungary HU). Hopefully all of them will be present at the 1st Hungarian Gettogether on 16 August in Etyek, where the award ceremony will take place. Csetvei Cellar will be one of the wineries to sample wines at the event. NapHoldCsillag (SunMoonStar)is a great success of the winery made of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and indigenous Ezerjó. Hopefully we will have great weather, and we will see the sun, and then the moon and the stars with our winners on that unforgettable night!
