4 families of wine at Teleki

Csányi Winery, the producer of Teleki wines is located on the outskirts of the town of Villány, the predecessor of which, was established by Zsigmond Teleki in 1881. The owners considered the traditions important, therefore they left the old system of cellars––now a rarity––almost intact, and built a modern winery above it that meets today’s demands. After several “face-liftings”, the estate now has four distinct categories of wines:

– TELEKI Selection
This category offers the widest assortment, allowing everyone to find their favourite wine, whether it’s fresh white wine, fruity rosé, or velvety red wine.

– TELEKI Inspiration
A premium category with a carefully curated selection, where each wine’s depth and character make it a worthy companion for special occasions.

– TELEKI Tradition
The TELEKI Tradition category includes the winery’s top wines, making them the perfect choice for the most exceptional occasions.

– KŐVILLA
KŐVILLA primarily focuses on the HORECA segment, paying special attention to the needs of the hospitality industry with premium-quality wines.

Teleki Inspiráció Villányi Franc – not the first gold!

The recent gold winner is the 2023 vintage, while vintage 2022 also received gold medal, what is more, that gold was awarded by the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards judging panel. Their review was the following: “Crammed with tempting flavours of damson, dark chocolate and sweet oak spice; a very distinctive style with an abundant structure, smoky tannins and a savoury length.” The wine has also received the title of the best value red wine of Hungary.
