The next race is to be held on the 29 July in Mogyoród, 19 kilometres from Budapest. Some of tickets are sold out, but there are still plenty available. Sebastian Vettel is at the top of the tabella recently. If he wins again – and according to Damon Hill he will –, he will have every reason to celebrate. “Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton have always been fierce competitors on the track and there’s been a fair share of speculation that the pair don’t get along. But when it comes to defending professional integrity, it seems like Vettel will put any rivalry aside.” –writes Tom Head sport reporter in TheSouthAfrica.com. He definitely deserves the greatest sparkling wines, and Garamvári Furmint Brut is a noble one with several awards. “Character-based fruitiness of the varietal can be sensed alongside the dynamic acids. Lewis Hamilton is closely behind Vettel, the difference is only one single score. The four-time champion British racer is the highest earner sportsman in his country. Once he was invited to the Buckingham Palace to dine with the queen. “I got invited to a lunch and was sitting next to The Queen. This season saw an unlucky event in Bahrein in April: the Finn broke the leg of a mechanic during a pit stop due to wrong signal of Ferrari. According to sport journalist Scott Mitchells, despite of this in his best shape this year, he really “feels” the car. The Finnish racer himself is involved in the drinks business himself, he advertised a Finish long drink called Hartnell Original Long Drink in 2016. He likes the characteristic of the drink, which is made of gin and the word’s purest water. His refined taste deserves a rarity: Gróf Buttler Viognier from Eger! “Unique Viognier from the iconic Nagy-Eged vineyard with perfumer, floral nose, rich and elegant texture and mineral finish. Only 1150 bottles were made.”

Formula 1 race in Hungary

Hungary first hosted a Grand Prix in the 1930s, but following the Second World War and the building of the Iron Curtain it was not until the 1960s that motorsport began to find a place in the country. At the start of the 1980s there was a general wish for a Grand Prix to be held behind the Iron Curtain and negotiations took place with the Soviet Union with a view to a race being held in Moscow. In the summer of 1983 however, the attention of the Formula One decision makers turned away from Moscow and towards Budapest in Hungary, whose national sporting authority was keen to put the country back on the map of global motorsport.
