Top Hungarian wines 2019 announced!

The National Wine Competition is considered to be the most important national contest in Hungary, organized by the Board of National Wine Communities, the most important association of winemakers. The significance of the contest is clearly proved by the increase of entries: the number of entered samples has tripled from 2013 to 2019.

The competition has considerable benefits: the winners receive the macarons which are ackowledged by both the trade and the costumers, plus the winners will have several opportunities to introduce themselves in foreign markets. Next year the Hungarian Tourism Agency will organize two tasting events in Poland, which is an important target market for Hungarian wines. Now we are presenting some of the winners. From 262 wineries, a total of 908 wine samples have been nominated for the contest.

The total list of results can be seen here (in Hungarian and English). Click on „EREDMÉNYKATALÓGUS LETÖLTÉSE”
