Wine with ice – not desecration!

And indeed, the dark pink wine is more full bodied, more complex than a crispy rosé, thus it is perfect with summer grill dishes, or as the staff itself suggests: siller is a superb refreshment in the summer heat, and it remains fruity and tasty even when deluted with ice cubes. The Swabish style wine has a darker pink colour, and at Sauska it is made of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Kékfrankos, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. “Cherries, strawberries, sour cherries, and oriental spices lead the nose with a touch of butter. Fresh vanilla and light tannins dominate the mouth feel. More than a rose and lighter than a red wine. Bold, sensual and very attractive, with a super light touch of oak.”
