3 events to taste Csetvei wines

Kriszti Csetvei is one of the most talented and creative winemaker in Hungary. Growing grapes in the second smallest wine region, Mór (and in the smallest Somló as well) she is always full of new ideas, always experimenting, always ready to communicate with her numerous followers via social media. Now we will recommend three events where you can taste her wines, with her personnaly.

8 July, Budapest

Kóstolom Wine Bar is famous for its quality tasting sessions, this one promises to be an outstanding evening again. 11 July, Mór

WeLoveMór Outdoor is a wine tour which takes participants through Mór wine region wine route. On the road 6 wineries will await hikers with wine samples including Csetvei Cellar. Krisztina will show her juicy, delicious, aromatic Tramini wine. Craft cheese, street food will also be served, and if you are not keen on walking, you can also ride a bike. The tour starts at 5 pm and finishes at 9 pm – so it is wise to stay in Mór for the night. Öreg Prés is a lovely guest house while Hétkút is a comfortable wellness hotel.

18 July, Mór

Have you heard about the phenomenon called Garden Cinema? It used to be the favourite pastime activity of many Hungarians, then these old institutions silently disappeared. Nowadays these outdoor cinemas seem to come back into fashion again. Csetvei Garden, a wonderful venue in Mór surrounded by vineyards will host a Garden Cinema night on 18 July. Of course Csetvei wines will be available during the evening along with stove oven pizza and vegan dishes cooked on open fire. The reason of the celebration is a nameday (in Hungary we celebrate namedays like birthdays), namely Kriszti’s husband, Frici’s name is celebrated on that day. Their love story is again a story worth learning…
The entrance to the event is free of charge, but advanced registration is needed
