For Hungarian people St Martin’s day is tied to the arrival of the new vintage, thus the traditional November St Martin goose dishes are accompanied by new wines. Tóth Ferenc Winery from Eger has just released its firt 2017 vintage wine, a rose made of fruity Kékfrankos. The resulting wine is a crispy, refreshing rosé with pleasant acidity, and the label depicts the geese of the legend of St. Martin.
