„Laser” wine, „the best white this year”

Santiago Rivas Muñoz is a well known video blogger in Spain, his videos are followed by thousands of Spanish winelovers. His main merit is that he has reformed communication about wine. He does not use hard-to-understand technical terms, he does not care about scoring systems and traditional wine descriptions, he simply explains if something is worth drinking or not. This August he participated in Hungarianwines.eu study tour visiting Tóth Ferenc, Koch and Kristinus wineries, and he attended Hungarian Gettogether in Mór at Csetvei Garden. This is where he tasted „the best white wine this year” under 15 euros, and since he tastes 6000 wines a year, it means a lot! Ezerjó is a local grape variety, mostly planted in the small Mór wine region, and since Krisztina Csetvei loves experimenting, she ferments Ezerjó in barrel, in stainless steel and in amphora. Ezerjó ’A’ is the amphora version, this is the wine Santiago was fascinated by. We met him in October, two months after the Hungarian study tour, and Santiago still keeps talking about the wine that suprised him.
