2. Bock wine dinner on Saint Vincent Day

The patron of vineyards, Saint Vincent is a popular saint, vineyard workers toast to him several times on his patron day… Wineries in Villány organize programmes for the whole weekend with winery visits, wine dinners and other programmes. Bock Cellar offers a special hotel stay including cellar tour with barrel sampling and wine dinner with live swing concert az the 18 January. Vince Day package (17–19 January) includes also 2 nights stay in Bock Hotel Ermitage, welcome drink, spa and wellness area access and breakfast. The wine dinner includes 4 wines. The hotel package costs 86.900 Ft / 2 persons (264 euros), but the wine dinner is available by itself, it costs 16 500 HUF / person (50 euros).

3. Borjour Magnum: a supersize tasting

More than 220 wineries will exhibit at the largest indoor tasting in Hungary on 15 February. Masterclasses with Demetri Walters MW, Frank Smulders MW and others with Hungarian and foreign wines. Producers from all over Hungary, for example Bock Cellar, Csányi Winery, Gere Attila, Gere Tamás & Zsolt and Vylyan Vineyard and Winery from Villány, Dúzsi Family Winery, Lajver Estate and Vesztergombi Cellar from Szekszárd, Frittmann Winery from Kunság, Kamocsy Ákos Premium from Neszmély, Kovács Nimród Winery, Thummerer Winery and Tóth Ferenc Winery from Eger, Sabar Wine House from Badacsony, Taschner Sparkling Wine House and Winery from Sopron, Tornai Winery from Somló, Tűzkő Estate from Tolna. 4. Barta Picnic in the most fabulous vineyard of Mád

’Öreg Király’ (Old King) vineyard is a magical place with breathtaking view. Barta Cellar, the owner of the vineyard offers a gift voucher valid for 2 people, including a guided tour to Öreg Király with a picnic basket full of local delicacies, and following the picnic the voucher includes a conducted tasting of 6 Barta wines in the historic cellar of them.
