Breaking news: Budapest has its first 2 Michelin star restaurant in Central-Eastern Europe

Yesterday, on 26 March Michelin Guide 2018 results were revealed in Budapest. The hosting city of the award gala has several reasons to celebrate: Borkonyha, Costes and Costes Downtown could keep their Michelin stars, while Onyx has just received its second star! Prague has two one star places, Warsaw has two as well, while other Central Eastern European capitals have none (the western neighbour, Vienna is a different story). If you are curious, try Onyx, but you need to book well in advance! When you are there, start with one of the amazing Hungarian méthode traditionelle sparkling wines offered on the wine list of Onyx, for example Kreinbacher Prestige Brut, which is available in magnum format as well.
