The „Crown of Tokaj”, Juliet Victor winery offers wine tasting experiences in English in their state of art yet traditional winery building. You can order the tasting now, and enjoy the stunning wines later. The winery welcomes groups up to 20 people (for minimum 4 people). At the moment Juliet Victor offers 3 wines, but from February 6 wines will be available – the portfolio will be enlarged with three more single vineyard dry Furmint wines from Betsek, Bomboly and Király vineyards. The winemaker Zsolt Vincze will participate in the guided tour personally, and local products (cheese, ham) are also provided with the tasting.

Estate Furmint – a wine of elegance

Presently Juliet Victor offers two dry Furmint wines. The fruit for Estate Furmint comes from Király, Betsek, Bomboly, Úrágya, Szent Tamás vineyards. Fermentation took place in wooden barrels with selected yeast, than the wine was aged in first use, light toasted barrique made by Kádár Hungary Ltd. (of local ‘Zemplén’ oak) for 9 months. „Crystal clear, pale straw yellow colour with shiny golden shades. Clear, restraint nose with slightly tart birch, velvety vanilla and exciting nutty notes – all justifying our expectations for the most noble wine when noticing the ‘legs’ on the sides of the glass flowing down slowly and evenly. Subtle, dry and balanced on the palate with myriad of vibrant citrus fruits and minerals. Playful and refreshing. Long finish, medium plus acidity and medium body make this wine perfectly balanced, harmonious and to be enjoyed endlessly.”Ideal with St. Jacob’s scallops, and Calamansi jelly!
