Celebrate the blessing of the vineyards in Pannonhalma, Hungary!

20 January – Vince Day at Babarczi Winery

As we wrote earlier, Vince Day (officially 22 January, but celebrated this year on 20 January, Saturday) is dedicated to Saint Vincent, patron of vineyards. Villány region offers programs for the whole weekend, while Hotel Zenit awaits visitors on the northwest of Lake Balaton. Babarczi family winery in the small and unique Pannonhalma wine region also offers friendly tasting in cosy, familiar atmosphere on the whole day (11.00–21.00). A rustic platter to accompany the 5 wine flight? No problem – and it costs only 3000 HUF / person (around 10 euros). If you can manage to visit the Babarczis, don’t miss their latest vintage rosé, the juicy Irsai Olivér and the elegant Rhine Riesling!
