3 wines you must taste at the exhibition

  • Thummerer Egri Bikavér Superior 2013, Eger

One of the flagship wines of the winery, made only in the best vintages. A fully ripened, developed great wine with stunning character and soft tannins. It is made of 40% Kékfrankos, 20% Merlot, 15% Cabernet sauvignon, 15% Cabernet franc, 10% Syrah. The wines are aged separately as varietal wines for is months, then the blend is aged for another 12 months, which is followed by long bottle ageing. VinAgora gold medal and other acknowledgements.

This Mundus Vini silver winner wine has deep ruby colour. The developing layered nose has aromas of plum, cherry and also shows some spicy notes. The full-flavoured and perfectly balanced palate has underlying acidity that helps to emphasize the fruit character of the wine. This wine has a velvety texture with finely integrated tannin. The toasted and sweet spicy notes are in harmony with the fruitforward taste and increase the complexity of the wine. For celebrating.

Fresh, lovely dried apricot, spring flowers with chamomile on the nose with dried orange, tropical fruits and charming rose pepper. „Colourful nose.” Jammy plum and apricot combined with refreshing fruitiness on the palate. Full bodied wine with great complexity and length, with the perfect balance of alcohol and sugar. It fills the mouth with endless juiciness.
