Technology: The fermentation took 18 days at the temperature of 25–28 °C. Maturation: 47 % of the wine was ageing in new barrique for 2.5 years, 53 % was ageing in 300 L first and second use oak barrels for 26 months (mostly European Coopers).

Food pairing:  Recommended with venison, meat dishes garnished with mushroom sauce or dried fruits and ideal with desserts made of dark chocolate.

Story: We aged the wine from the most prestigious vineyard of Villány in our most noble barrels. The first super premium Villányi Franc of our winery was made of the selection of these best barrels. “Villányi Franc is the embodiment of elegance and harmony.” Indeed.


Intense nose abundant with forest fruits and spices. Luscious, attractive palate with notes resulting from the roasting of the oak, blueberry and raspberry. Full bodied but not heavy and a perfect expression of the elegance of the grape variety. A true Villány wine!
