Story:  Egri Csillag means ‘The Stars of Eger’. On Nagy-Eged hill and its surroundings stood the watchmen’s huts. According to the description of Frigyes Türk these huts were lit by torches at night to make the territory visible. Therefore, the night glittering light of the huts had both the function of defence and road sign. At that time, the following phrase came into use: If you travel to Eger, just follow the glittering stars of Eger…”

This wine is a superb reflection of Eger wine region, the cool climate, it reveals beautiful, ripened fruit and the refreshing acidity in a deep, layered wine. Our objective was to create a superior quality elegant white blend with long ageing potential.
