With retro bus to the green, suburbian wine festival

Ikarus is a world famous Hungarian brand with its history dating back to 1895, though buses have been manufactured only since after the second World War. The 3rd Vingardium wine festival in Budapest will run some old models of Ikarus to transfer festival goers from metro line destination Örs vezér square to the venue, a green park called Erzsébet garden. The wine festival is held on 31 August – 1 September. The event is free admission, guests only have to buy a tasting glass to participate. More than 20 wineries will sell wines, for example Csányi Winery or Gere & Schubert Winery from Villány, or Koch Winery, which has vineyards both in Hajós–Baja and Villány wine regions. Csaba Koch makes easy to drink, lovely fresh wines along with his more complex, concentrated flagship wines, like CsanádCuvée, named after his son. The Bordeaux blend was aged in small oak barrel for 14 months, then in bottle for another 16 months before releasing. Blueberry, blackberry, vanilla in its complex nose. Significant body, relatively high alcohol, integrated tannins, soft acidy form the wonderful composition of this wine.
