The scent of mignonette
Olaszrizling (aka Welshriesling) is the most widely planted grape variety of Hungary. Dubicz Winery and Vineyard makes especially fresh and delicious Olaszrizling, ideal for spring picnics! “Light wine with typical Mátra aromas like herbs, flowers, budding mignonette. The wine is pleasant in mouth, its lively acids are well balanced, the scents are reflected in taste. A little CO2 makes it frisky. Light appetizers, well composed salads may be accompanied with this wine.” Now the 2020 vintage is available, retail price is only around 3-4 euros!
And if you don’t know what the scent of mignotte (or reseda in another word) is like, go out, you can find it one in flowering meadows!
