Sunset photos wanted!

Sabar Wine House in Badacsony wine region is celebrating its 10th birthday this year. On the 28th September owner Gábor Ádám and his team welcomes fans to celebrate with a tempting menu, live music and of course their super delicious wines made on the volcanic soil of the region. A heart warming feature of the event is a photo exhibition made of exclusively sunset photos taken at Sabar terrace. So if are lucky enough to have been at Sabar Wine House personally, and happen to have a photo of Sabar hill taken at sunset, send it to sabar@sabar.hu with the subject „sunset” or ’naplemente’ as it is in Hungarian. As for the birthday party, some tickets are still available. Participation fee is 11.500 HUF / person (34 euros) and it includes welcome Kékfrankos Rosé, second welcome Olaszrizling, local appetizers, pumpkin cream soup, grilled pork with smashed potato and home made cabbage pickles – all paired with wines like Leszner Single Estate Rhine Riesling. And what makes me, the wine writer longing to be there desperately is the dessert: redcurrant cake with a bottle fermented sparkling wine made of indigenous Kéknyelű! Sabar Brut Kéknyelű is made for this special occassion. The party begins at 6 pm and ends at 11 pm and until closing time all the wines are available for retasting!
