Jaromír Open Road Bázis (‘base’) is a new meeting place in Budapest for those, who want to enjoy arriving as well besides the ride. And Giorgio with its playful bubbles is the perfect welcome drink!

Restaurant & Garage

What? Restaurant & Hotel, Bistro & Bar – these are usual pairings, but Restaurant & Garage is quite a strange couple, however Jaromír Open Road Bázis is right above the Harley-Davidson garage, a place where lovers of the cultic motorcycle can buy, have fixed or rent their dream vehicle.

American & Czech

Another pairing which might sound strange, but in fact the American typical bistro dishes are not far from the typical Czech plates. A burger with coleslaw or a pork knuckle with steamed cabbage on dumplings with sheep cheese – both are hardy and delicious treats for the vagabonds of the road.

Beer & Wine

Some people make their own life miserable by restricting themselves to only either of these drinks. However, a true connoisseur enjoys both – in case they are good quality and exciting. Jaromír has a good selection of Hungarian wines with some international labels and they offer a superb selection of Czech beer! The whisky range is also spectacular…

Giorgio – a playful gentleman

We picked Giorgio from the wine list of Jaromír, because Giorgio by Patricius Winery in Tokaj is an easy drinking sparkling wine made with the usually high standards of Patricius, as said earlier, a perfect, refreshing welcome drink after a long ride. The estate is famous for its single vineyard dry Furmint wines and the noble, multi award winner Tokaji Aszú wines, yet the estate wants to entertain winelovers with something ultimately refreshing and easy to understand. Giorgio is a semy dry aerated sparkling wine (with 9.1 g/l residual sugar) and is made of Furmint and Yellow Muscat, fermented and matured in stainless steel tank. “The intense fruity aromas of Muscat Blanc and nice acidity from Furmint are the basis of this refreshing, softly sparkling frizzante. It contains light and elegant residual sugars that are followed by long-finished citrus flavours.
