The charming chef’s own grand cuvée
Jenő Rácz is well known all over Hungary – especially because he is one of the celebrity chefs of the television cooking contest ‘The Chef’. He loves wine: he has already made the second joint venture wine with Paulus Wine House in Mór wine region. As the chef explained, the wine was a blend of Rhine Riesling and Chardonnay, which was the favourite combination of him. The wine matured 6 months in small new barrique (medium toast), thus the fruity flavours are accompanied by a touch of vanilla. “We can also discover some ripened banana“ – comments the chef. The grape came from low yield plantations of Mór, and the region’s typical acidity makes it vibrant, while the mouthful is creamy and luscious. Long lasting, rich aftertaste.
The wine was made in limited quantity: only 2000 bottles are available.
