The great „cheers” – record challenge at a free festival in the heart of Budapest

Hungarian people like giving toasts, raising the glass to every possible reason– perhaps to give explanation for every sip of wine. Borjour, a wine event organizer group of young wine enthusiasts will hold its next session in Szabadság square (Liberty square) in the very heart of Budapest, and the festival is called „A nagy koccintás”, the great cheers. 10 top wineries will pour their wines on 4-5 July from 5 pm to 11.30 pm, and on both evening exactly at 9 pm the great toast or cheer or glass raising will begin: you will hear the jingling of glasses for a whole minute, the whole festival will become one great crowd of friendly winelovers. Kurt Taschner from Sopron is one of the wineries to exhibit, do not miss his méthode traditionelle Soproni Chardonnay BrutSubtle perlage, lovely nose with excellent structure: ripened fruits, a touch of stone fruits, restrained yeasty character. Delicate mousse on the palate with balanced acidity. Or if you prefer rosé, Vylyan Kszí is the ideal one from Villány, made of Pinot Noir – even the name of the sparkling wine has „speaking sound”.
