Vinofed wine contest dates announced including Hungarian VinAgora

Vinofed, the World Federation of International wines and spirits competition presents the dates of the competitions of its members in 2017. This year two new competitions await samples which are: International Wine Contest Bucharest and Mondial des Vins Extrêmes in the Federation which makes 14 International competitions all together. Mondial des Vins Extrêmes wine competition is reserved to wines produced in mountain and steeply sloping areas, to promote the wine production of these regions, which are characterized by structural difficulties but also by rare wines possessing extraordinary features.

Hungary also organizes a Vinofed wine contest called VinAgora, which will take place in June, in Budapest. Registration to Vinagora begins on 1^st February and ends on 23^rd May. Compared to the fees at renowned wine competitions abroad, VinAgora offers a reduced entry fee, which is affordable even to smaller winemakers. Entering one sample costs 130 euros, and the per-unit cost of entering a sample decreases with the number of samples submitted. For example, four samples can be submitted for 460 euros. A modern, updated software is used for the evaluation of the wines.
