Szent Tamás MÁD Furmint 2017

Though the above described two wines are made of international grapes (except for Kékfrankos), the customers of Winelovers Webshop also favour wines made of indigenous grapes. Furmint and also Juhfark are especially popular. MÁD Furmint has an exceptional price-value ratio, now wonder it sells very well. The village of Mád boasts some of the best vineyards of Tokaj wine region, the wines made of grapes grown here are mineral, refreshing, vibrant, just like this Szent Tamás MÁD Furmint. The wine fermented and aged in stainless steel, fresh and citrusy with some mineral tones from the volcanic soil.

Gere Kopar 2017, Villány

The iconic Villány blend was the first in Hungary to be offered in pre-sale. Most of the bottles are sold before they get to the shelves, however, the good news is that a few bottles are still available.

“The core is blackish purple with a burgundy red rim. The nose offers spices of toasted oak, black pepper, forest fruit, cigar box and mineral notes. The palate shows similar levels of complexity and it is quite full reflecting the character of the vintage. The ample tannins are balanced by wonderfully concentrated aromas. It has a long life ahead.

It is out of stock at the winery, so grab the last bottles from the webshop!
