14 October – a day with 9 Tokaj wineries at Patricius Winery
Live music, stunning view, great wines – “harvest in the air”
Though the name October comes from the Latin “octo” (eight) number, since it was the 8th month in the Roman calendar, in the Hungarian countryside October is also called All Saints’ Month – even though All Saints’ Day is not in this month. All Saints’ Month is ‘Mindszenthava’ in Hungarian, hence the name of this annual event, where wineries from two lovely Tokaj villages – Bodrogkisfalud and Bodrogkeresztúr gather to present their wines all day.
