Sauska is the best of 62 rosé wines

The latest issue of Hungarian print wine magazine VinCE has ben released recently, and the main theme is rosé wine. As László Romsics, consultant editor of the magazine commented, “the improvement we had witnessed lately seems to have stopped, at this tasting we had much less exciting wines with unique character”. That is not the case with Sauska Rosé 2021, the winner of the panel tasting, a blend of Merlot, Kékfrankos and Syrah: “Intense, elegant nose with fresh fruity notes, mainly peach and flowers. The palate is balanced, medium plus body, full of flavours. Juicy, peachy, citrusy. Lovely acidity and long, beautiful aftertaste.”

Sauska has a history of great rosés, they have been winners of VinCE tasting several times and probably the most important success took place in San Francisco in 2018: Sauska Rosé 2017 was selected Best in Show Rosé by American Fine Wine Competition!
