A contest of wine and contest of judges as well!

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is a unique wine contest. First of all it is not held in Bruxelles. It was, at the beginning, but nowadays it is held annually in another city of Europe, last year Plovdiv (Bulgaria) was the host city, and this year Valladolid in Spain, the centre of Castília y Leon. So far in Europe, but as it was announced on the last year of the contest, next year it will be held in China, near Beiging, in Haidian district!

Concours Mondial is a strict and unique wine contest regarding the carefully selected 320 jury members as well: the judges evaluate the wines, but meanwhile the judges are being evaluated, too! Each day a sample is repeated in each jury to check the concentration of the judges, and their overall work is analized by the organizers in cooperation by Statistics Institute of the Catholic University in Louvain. I participated in the contest as well, and I can also tell that the whole process is outstanding in its quality of organization.
