Babarczi Winery in Pannonhalma wine region is well known for its fruity wines made with reductive technology. This rosé is made of 100% Kékfrankos. It perfectly displays the characteristics of the variety and reflects the terroir of Pannonhalma wine region both on the nose and on the palate. Intense strawberry and raspberry notes lifted by the vivacious, medium acidity. And what to pair with it? It is ideal with light salads, feather light desserts (for example macarons) and we can apply the colour rule, too: find something pink, salmon or shrimps for instance, and surprisingly enough it will please not only the eyes but the palate as well. Babarczi Winery will next present their wines personally in a holiday resort called Agárd by Lake Velencei (50 kilometres from Budapest) on 28–29 June at an open air event called Agárdi Borpart (Agárd Wine Beach).
