Single vineyard wines presented at Juliet Victor
The brand new „crown of Tokaj”, Juliet Victor wine estate was inaugurated only last year, but immediately became a big hit. Two weeks ago the winery presented their new single vineyard Furmint wines, and they have already received some astonishing reviews! As we reported earlier, Tamlyn Currin evaluated both dry Furmint on www.jancisrobinson.com, and she gave as high as 17 scores to both wines. Betsek Furmint 2017 was described by Tamlyn as „Fantastic food wine. Buzzing with character.”The wines were presented at brand new Textúra restaurant, which is run by the owners of Borkonyha (Wine Kitchen) Michelin star restaurant in Budapest.
Szamorodni is coming very soon!
Apart from presenting three single vineyard Furmint wines (from Betsek, Király and Bomboly vineyards), Juliet Victor also introduced the 2017 vintage of their sweet Szamorodni. As József Váradi, the owner of Juliet Victor estate said, the vintage had been ideal with enough botrytis.„The Szamorodni of 2017 was created based on our experiences with our Szamorodni 2016, plus the benefits of the ideal vintage are added, therefore we have high expectations regarding the reception of this wine.”Szamorodni 2016 won double gold at Shakura Japanese wine contest, thus expectations are really high indeed!
Szamorodni 2017 is avalable from 30 April.
