Tóth Ferenc Winery

It has become an annual tradition of Tóth Ferenc Winery to gather around on “Síkhegy” (‘Flat Mountain’) around the huge poplar tree. Fire jogglers, chilled wines, delicious street food, relaxed atmosphere, stunning view of the city of Eger. Unforgettable.

Date and time: 22 June, Saturday, from 4 pm until 11 pm.
Venue: Síkhegy, Eger
To get to the city of Eger: Eger is only 2 hours’ drive from Budapest, also there is an Intercity train and fast bus service from Budapest to Eger.
Transfer from Eger to the venue: You can walk, ride a bike or use the transfer provided by the winery. The transfer leaves from opposite Gárdonyi Géza Theatre, Eger, behind the memorial of 1956. Look for the bus with sign “Tóthék Transzfer”. Transfer times from the starting point: 15.30, 16.15, 17.00, 17.45, 18.30, 19.15). And don’t worry, there will be return transfers as well. The return transfer costs 1500 HUF / 4 EUR.

Participation fee: 2800 HUF / 7 EUR and it contains a glass of Egri Csillag (‘The Star of Eger’).
Food by Fázis Koszt & Kávé: pulled caprese chicken breast, pesto, gorgonzola, mushroom | pulled BBQ meat, salsa, cheddar, mushroom | cheese cake with white chocolate
Tutored wine tasting is available at 6 pm led by Katalin Tóth, the manager of the winery. The flight of 5 superior wines cost 7000 HUF / 18 EUR
Prior registration is necessary! In your email please, mention the number of participants, if you want to take part in the superior tasting and if you need transfer from the theatre of Eger.
