25th Kadarka International Grand Prix

Kadarka is an indigenous black grape of the Carpathian Basin. It gives a light red, spicy and fruity, easly to drink wine, but in case of developed viticultural practices Kadarka can produce fuller bodied wine with ageing potential. Let us introduce you the winners of the 25th international Kadarka contest!

Tóth Ferenc Winery: Kadarka and its charming face

Egri Kadarka Superior 2018 from Tóth Ferenc Winery also received a gold medal. We selected this wine “Wine of the Week” last week, because it is so charming, so fruity, so delicious, that we were absolutely impressed by the beauty of it. This wine was also the best red wine in February issue of VinCE Magazine: “Good intensity and complexity, distinctly fruity with sour cherries and spices. Medium body, silky texture and sour cherry flavour. Vivacious acidity. A great wine made with attention.”
